Lucknow: Firoz Fatima. The daughter of truck driver has created an inspirational story by securing the 708th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Exam 2026. A resident of Pinan Kaliyar in Haridwar district of Uttar Pradesh, her father ensured that that her daughter faced no difficulty in securing education.

Speaking about her parents and their sacrifices for her, Firoz attributed her success to their unwavering support. Notably, it took eight years of hard work and Firoz’s fourth attempt to achieve this remarkable feat. Her determination remained unshaken despite family hardships and tragic events.

Firoz’s is just one example of how families put their problems aside to fulfil the dreams of their children. In another such case, Priyanka Chaudhary, the daughter of a government chauffer secured an AIR of 79 in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 conducted by the UPSC. Her achievement has brought immense pride to her family, turning years of struggle and hard work into a moment of celebration.

Soon after the news of her success spread across Gaura Khas village in the district, her relatives, neighbours, and well-wishers started visiting the family home to congratulate them. The journey of the family was marked by tough situations due to the loss of Priyanka’s mother and elder brother last year.
