In view of the situation in Gulf countries, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reviewed the food and civil supply system in Madhya Pradesh. He said that there is adequate availability of food grains, gas and oil in the state and there is no need for citizens to panic. The government is constantly monitoring the situation.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held an important meeting in the Ministry on Tuesday to review the food and civil supply system in Madhya Pradesh in view of the adverse conditions arising in the Gulf countries. The main objective of the meeting was to ensure that the availability and supply system of essential commodities remains completely smooth in the state.

The supply of food, gas and oil in the state is completely safe.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there is no supply related problem in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has adequate availability of essential resources like food grains, gas and oil. He appealed to the citizens not to panic in any way. The government is continuously monitoring the situation and all necessary steps are being taken.

Instructions given to officials for better management

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the officials to ensure better management of the supply system in the state. He said that the Central Government is also continuously monitoring the international situation. Under the guidance of the Central Government, there will be no problem related to supply in the country as well as in Madhya Pradesh.

Committee formed to monitor the supply system

The Chief Minister said that keeping in mind the current global circumstances and possible challenges, a strong management system will be implemented in Madhya Pradesh. For this, a committee of three-member ministers and officials has been formed, which will continuously monitor the supply system of food and essential commodities in the state and will take immediate decisions if needed and will ensure smooth supply.

Attention also paid to the return of citizens of Madhya Pradesh stranded in Gulf countries

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is in constant touch with the Central Government for the safe return of Indian citizens living in Gulf countries, especially the residents of Madhya Pradesh. This also includes those who have gone there for employment, work visa, studies or tourism. So far 255 people have contacted through the helpline started by the state government. Rapid efforts are being made for the safe return of all these citizens.

Many senior officers and ministers were present in the meeting

All ministers of the state government including Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla were present in this important review meeting. Apart from this, Chief Secretary in-charge Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Director General of Police Kailash Makwana, Additional Chief Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Rashmi Arun Shami, Secretary Transport and Commissioner Public Relations Manish Singh and senior officials of many departments were also present in the meeting.
