Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), a prominent smart mobility solutions provider, has declared one of the significant achievements in its EV ecosystem development.
By August 2025, the fast charging infrastructure that is growing rapidly at HMIL has already served over 2.3 million units of clean energy in 1.8 lakh charging sessions, avoiding over 1.6 million kg of tailpipe emissions of CO 2.
In the present time HMIL has already put in place 119 public fast charging points throughout India and intends to extend to 600 locations in India over the next few years. These locations are strategically located along major highways, major cities, and Hyundai dealerships and they are reliable and convenient to both Hyundai and non-Hyundai EV users.
The network has modern DC fast chargers of different configurations, and offers a speed of 150 kW. Having over 97% availability and facilities at the locations that include customer-friendly features like cafes and shopping areas, Hyundai is overcoming range anxiety and facilitating the customer easy rides through EVs. Customer convenience and safety is further improved by 24×7 CCTV surveillance and marshals at the stations during peak hours.
The myHyundai app offers Hyundai access to more than 20,000 EV charging points operated by HMIL and partners, making it easier to discover, book and pay through the app. Also, Hyundai Pay presents the first in-car payment platform in India, where it is possible to make hassle-free charging transactions directly through the infotainment system of a car.
As well as flagship EVs such as the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and CRETA Electric, and extensive home charging solutions, HMIL is reaffirming its support of the mission of making India carbon neutral and speeding up the process of clean mobility transformation in the country.
