Muthoot Group’s special film on Women’s Day, showing the hard work and responsibilities of women

On the occasion of Women’s Day, The Muthoot Group has released an emotional film, paying tribute to the women who silently manage our everyday lives. Through this film, the company has shown how important a role women play in managing both family and workplace. It is shown in the film how women continue to fulfill responsibilities like household, child care and job without any interruption, so that life goes on as normal every day.

Role reversal shown in the story

The story of the film is based on an interesting idea. It shows what would happen if a man suddenly had to shoulder all the responsibilities of the house. In the story, a man wakes up first thing in the morning, cooks food, gets the children ready for school, irons clothes, takes care of the house and then goes to his work. Throughout the day he tries to balance all these tasks.

tired within a day

In the evening, when he thinks of relaxing after having dinner with his family, he is reminded that he still has children’s school projects, office work and many other responsibilities. He gets stressed due to the pressure of all these tasks and then suddenly he wakes up. Then he realizes that it was all just a dream.

Then we understand the hard work of women

After waking up from the dream, he realizes that the work which he finds extremely difficult in just one day, is done by the woman in his life every day. That too without any complaint and often without any praise.

Salute to the hard work of women

Speaking on this initiative, the company’s Joint Managing Director Alexander George Muthoot said that through this film, the hard work, emotional strength and dedication of women has been honored which is often not visible. According to the company, more than 11,500 women work in their organization, which is about 22% of the total employees. Of these, more than 1,175 women hold the position of branch head and many are also working in other important leadership roles.
