CM Yogi Adityanath 5T Model: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that after 2017, the basis of change in Uttar Pradesh has been the Prime Minister’s 5T model. In the Women’s Day program, he gave information about women’s safety, employment, Mission Shakti and new schemes for daughters.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that there is a clear thinking and planned work behind the change seen in the state after 2017. The government has worked on the basis of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5T vision for development—Tradition, Technology, Transparency, Trust and Transformation. According to the Chief Minister, only when tradition, technology, transparency and trust come together, real change is visible. This model is being implemented today in Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was speaking at the state level program organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on International Women’s Day on Sunday. During this, he honored the beneficiaries of many schemes and also inaugurated the Pink Employment Mahakumbh-2026. Exhibitions related to various government schemes and short films of the Labor Department were also shown in the programme.
Self-reliant society is not possible without half the population
The Chief Minister said that if any society wants to move forward then it is necessary to take women along with it. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, campaigns like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao were started in the country, which gave a new direction to the empowerment of women. The Chief Minister said that in the coming time, women’s participation will increase in Parliament and Assembly and women’s representation will be seen on 33 percent seats.

Security is the first condition of self-reliance
The Chief Minister said that the safety of women is most important. Confidence increases when security is achieved and this confidence moves forward in the direction of self-reliance. He said that keeping in mind the safety and respect of women in the state, Mission Shakti campaign is being run, the next phase of which will be started during Navratri.
Many schemes from daughters’ education to marriage
The government has implemented many schemes keeping in mind the education and future of daughters. The most important among these is the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of about Rs 25 thousand for the education of a daughter from birth to graduation. Till now, about 27 lakh daughters of the state are taking benefit of this scheme. Similarly, through the Chief Minister Group Marriage Scheme, the government is providing financial assistance in the marriage of daughters of poor families. Till now, marriage of more than four lakh daughters has been done under this scheme. The Chief Minister also informed that Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme will be started soon, in the first phase of which scooties will be given to meritorious girl students of graduation and post graduation.
New facilities for Anganwadi and Asha workers also
The Chief Minister said that Anganwadi workers are now being given better honorarium and facilities. They have been given smartphones so that they can directly upload their work information online. The government has also decided to provide them cashless health facility up to Rs 5 lakh. Similarly, there are preparations to provide similar facilities to Asha workers and cooks.
Increase in women’s participation
The Chief Minister said that before 2017, the female workforce in the state was around 13 percent, which has now increased to 36 to 37 percent. Today women are not only studying but also working in different fields. In many places, women are also working in night shifts, which was earlier considered difficult.
Number of women in police also increased
To strengthen the security of women, recruitment of women in the police force has also been increased. According to the Chief Minister, from 1947 to 2017 there were about 10 thousand women personnel in the state police, whereas after 2017 this number has increased to more than 44 thousand.
New jobs and opportunities for women
The government is also creating new employment opportunities for women. The Chief Minister said that more than 20 thousand startups are working in the state and more than half of them are run by women. Apart from this, after One District One Product (ODOP), now the government is also working on schemes like One District One Cuisine (ODOC).
Target of developed India by 2047
The Chief Minister said that when the country completes 100 years of independence in 2047, our aim is to make India a developed nation. He said that this goal will be achieved only when women’s participation is strengthened and every daughter becomes safe and self-reliant. The Chief Minister also appealed to the parents to extend full cooperation in the education of their daughters and in increasing their self-confidence.
