According to the Vedic calendar, Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start on March 19 at 06:52 am and it will end on March 20 at 04:52 am. According to Udayatithi, the festival of Gudi Padwa will be celebrated on 19 March 2026. Chaitra Navratri also begins from this day, which is considered the beginning of the Hindu New Year.
Why are Neem and Mishri offered on Gudi Padwa?
