Bhopal. An important step has been taken regarding the Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Road project. Residents of Saver area of Indore district reached the Chief Minister’s residence and expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for approving the construction of roads at the grassroots level and making arrangements for appropriate compensation, keeping in mind the interests of the farmers. Villagers and farmers described this decision as a big step taken for the development of the area and in the interest of farmers.
Indore-Ujjain greenfield road will be built at a cost of Rs 3 thousand crores
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this greenfield route to be built between Indore and Ujjain will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 3 thousand crores. After the construction of this road, the travel between the two cities will become much easier. At present it takes about one and a quarter hour to reach Ujjain from Indore, but after the construction of this new route, this distance can be covered in about half an hour. This will establish fast and easy connectivity between the two cities.
Regional development and trade will get big benefits
The Chief Minister said that better connectivity between Indore and Ujjain will give a new impetus to the development of the entire region. The construction of this route will promote industries at the local level and the possibility of developing a logistics park will also increase. With this, farmers will get convenience in delivering their produce to the markets. Traders and industries will also get direct benefits. This road will work to better connect the major industrial and business centers of the country, which will accelerate both trade and traffic.
Many villages of Indore and Ujjain will benefit
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that traditionally and historically this route has been used between Indore and Ujjain. This project will directly benefit 20 villages of Indore district and 6 villages of Ujjain district. Apart from this, this route will prove to be very useful during big religious events like Simhastha and will make the movement of passengers easier.
Farmer’s interest is paramount, project will become an example of trust
The Chief Minister said that a new phase of development is beginning in Indore-Ujjain region. The interest of farmers is paramount for the state government. Keeping in mind the suggestions of the farmers, the road is being constructed and arrangements have also been made for appropriate compensation in exchange for the land. This makes it clear that the government is committed to keeping its promises. The Chief Minister said that this project will become a strong example of trust between farmers and the government.
