Before Bihar elections 2025, LJP (Ram Vilas) has intensified the politics of making Chirag Paswan the face of the Chief Minister’s post by calling it ‘Kohinoor of Bihar’. Poster is trying to increase its stake in party seat sharing from politics.
Patna: As the Bihar assembly elections 2025 are getting closer, the political Fiza of Patna is getting new color. The poster politics of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) on the capital’s Veerchand Patel Path has intensified the political stir. In the poster put up by the activists, it is clearly written, calling party supremo Chirag Paswan as ‘Kohinoor of Bihar’, “Bihar Mangge Chirag, Tan Badan is Noor, Chirag is the Kohinoor of Bihar.” This slogan not only shows the enthusiasm of party workers, but also highlights the intention of projecting Chirag as the future Chief Minister of Bihar. This poster has been installed by LJP (Ra) District President Imam Gajali.
‘Bihar’s Kohinoor’ tag line
Political experts believe that giving ‘Kohinoor’ tagline to Chirag Paswan is not just an image building, but also has a strategy to increase pressure in the NDA’s seat sharing conversation. The lamp himself has announced that he wants a stake of at least 40 seats. After a banging victory of all 5 seats in the Lok Sabha, now the LJP (Ra) is trying to present itself in the role of both the kingmaker or the king in Bihar. The big question is whether the BJP and other NDA parties will bow to this demand or LJP (Ra) will once again enter the election summer alone?
Confidence of contesting elections alone, Nazir of 2020 experience
Earlier, party MP Arun Bharti also clearly stated through a post on social media that LJP (Ra) workers are the real strength of the party. Running 6% vote share by contesting elections alone in the 2020 assembly elections shows that LJP (Ra) has become a major political force of Bihar. He claims that if his party had fielded candidates for all 243 seats, the vote share would have crossed 10%.
