New Delhi: In a shocking case reported from Bengaluru, a 27-year-old woman died after following a domestic dispute. The fight with her husband started over a 3-day-old sambhar. The woman consumed pesticide after an argument with her husband on Thursday.
Woman married for 5 years, has a child
The woman was identified as Kavya. She was married to Rangaswamy for the past 5 years and had a 4-year-old child, reported NDTV. According to reports, the couple had an argument after the woman reheated sambhar prepared 3 days ago and served it to her husband.
The argument turned heated after the man reportedly abused his wife and even tried to assault her. Following the argument, Kavya consumed pesticides kept at home, meant for agricultural purposes.
Family members noticed that something was wrong with her after she started vomiting. She was rushed to hospital after her condition deteriorated, but she died on the way, said relatives.
The woman’s body was moved to the government hospital and a post mortem is scheduled to take place. Investigations are underway in the case.
Suicide of techie after dispute with mother-in-law
In an similar kind of incident, also reported from Bengaluru, a 35-year-old software engineer died by suicide, after a quarrel with her mother-in-law. The incident was reported from Abbigere in north Bengaluru, said police officials.
The woman, Sushman had been married to Puneeth Kumar for 5 years. This couple also had a 4-year-old child. Reports in the Indian Express said that Sushman and her mother-in-law had frequent disagreements over several domestic matters. Though living under the same roof, they had separate kitchens.
