Renault Duster will be launched on March 17. This SUV has started reaching showrooms for preview and test drives and its delivery will start in April. Duster will be offered in India with two turbo-petrol engine options. There will be a 1.0-litre engine that will produce 100 horsepower, the same engine that is also found in the Kiger. The second will be a more powerful 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine, which will generate 163 horsepower. Both engines will get a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the larger engine will also have the option of a 6-speed DCT. Later this year, around Diwali, its 1.8-litre hybrid model will also arrive. It will give a total power of 160 horse power, which will include 109 horse power petrol engine, 49 horse power electric motor and 20 horse power starter generator. When launched, the Duster will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and the Kia Seltos.
Audi SQ8
Audi will also include the SQ8 in its Q8 range. Coming between the standard Q8 and the RS Q8, the SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine generates 507 horsepower and 770 Nm torque. This engine is paired with 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi claims that the SQ8 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. It will compete in the market with Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe and Porsche Cayenne GTS.
Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric
Mercedes-Benz will start booking its CLA Electric from March 10. It has an 85.5 kWh battery and a rear-mounted motor, which gives a power of 268 bhp. The company claims that it will give a range of 792 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge and will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
toyota urban cruiser abella
Toyota’s urban cruiser Abela will be the company’s entry into the Indian electric vehicle market. This car will be available in two battery pack options of 49 kWh and 61 kWh. These packs will give a range of 440 kilometers and 543 kilometers respectively and produce up to 174 horsepower. The company has already introduced this car, but it is expected to announce the prices of its first electric car in March.
