Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals worth Rs 1592 crore in Bharat Tax 2026. CM Mohan Yadav said that Dhar’s PM Mitra Park is becoming the biggest textile hub of the country.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a major center of textile and garment industry of the country. He said that the PM Mitra Park being developed in Dhar district is the largest PM Mitra Park in the country. The allotment of 90 percent of the plots here has already been completed, which shows the prompt functioning of the state government and the increasing confidence of the investors.
The Chief Minister said that India has had its own identity in the world for manufacturing cotton and textiles for centuries. During the Bharat Tex 2026 organized in New Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh effectively showcased its potential and investment opportunities in the textile, garment and footwear industry to the world.
He told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gifted the country’s first PM Mitra Park to Dhar district on 17 September 2025. Completion of allotment of 90 percent of the plots here along with Bhoomi Pujan is an important achievement in itself.
PM MITRA Park Dhar: Investor interest increased around the park also
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the demand for land from investors for setting up industries is continuously increasing around PM Mitra Park in Dhar. The favorable environment for industries in Madhya Pradesh, availability of adequate raw materials and rapidly developing infrastructure are attracting investors. He said that the state’s growing export potential and employment generation potential is now being recognized at the global level as well. The enthusiasm of investors and entrepreneurs in the garment industry is a positive sign for the state.
Bharat Tex 2026 Investment: Investment proposals worth Rs 1592 crore received
The Chief Minister said that during Bharat Tax 2026, investment proposals worth Rs 1,592 crore have been received in the textile sector. With the implementation of these proposals, about 15,700 people are likely to get employment. He said that there was a detailed and positive discussion with Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh, industrialists from India and abroad and representatives of global brands.
Textile Industry MP: Strong ecosystem is being prepared from form to fashion
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is among the few states where the entire value chain of textile and apparel sector is available. The state has facilities ranging from cotton production to yarn manufacturing, garment manufacturing and machinery. He said that Madhya Pradesh ranks first in the country in organic cotton production. The state government is not limited to cotton production only, but is developing the entire ecosystem of ‘Form to Fashion’.
According to the Chief Minister, exports worth Rs 11,750 crore have been made in the textile and garment sector from the state. The products manufactured here are being exported to many countries including America, Bangladesh, Japan, Germany, Vietnam, Italy, Netherlands and Australia.
Garment Industry MP: More than 43 thousand MSME units, employment to lakhs of people
The Chief Minister said that hundreds of industries in the textile and garment sector are operating in Madhya Pradesh. More than 43 thousand MSME units are operating in the state. Due to investment of about Rs 2,400 crore, more than 3 lakh people have got employment in this sector. He said that investment of more than Rs 20 thousand crore and arrival of about 30 big companies in PM Mitra Park of Dhar will prove important for the industrial development of the state. Cotton producing farmers will also get direct benefits from this.
MP Investment: Madhya Pradesh preparing to create new investment records
The Chief Minister said that due to attractive industrial policies made for textile, garment and footwear industries, Madhya Pradesh is becoming the first choice of investors. The state government is providing many facilities to the industries like financial assistance, land allotment, electricity facility and exemption in stamp duty. Continuous work is also being done on encouragement to women entrepreneurs, skill development training and better industrial infrastructure.
He said that out of the investment proposals received in the Global Investors Summit 2025, investment worth about Rs 10 lakh crore has already come on the ground. Even more investment is expected in the next GIS to be held in the year 2027. The Chief Minister also informed that till now subsidy worth more than Rs 5,500 crore has been provided to entrepreneurs through DBT.
Regional Industry Conclave: Industrial development reaches small towns
The Chief Minister said that the Regional Industry Conclave organized at the divisional level has yielded positive results. Now rapid industrial development is taking place even in small cities. He informed that a new industrial area is being developed in Narmadapuram with an investment of Rs 11,500 crore. IT park is going to start in Rewa. New industrial parks are being developed in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Singrauli, Satna, Katni and Sagar.
Shivpuri has got the gift of Defense Park and Guna has got the gift of a big cement plant. At present more than 37 industrial parks are operating in the state. The Chief Minister said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also appreciated the Regional Industry Conclave model of Madhya Pradesh.
Solar Energy MP: Farmers are now producing electricity themselves, government is buying excess production
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government has given pace to development works by cutting unnecessary expenses. Solar pumps are being provided to the farmers so that they can generate their own electricity needs. He said that farmers are producing excess electricity, which the state government is also purchasing. Apart from this, new direction is being given to water management through river linking projects. Besides, tourism is also being promoted by making better coordination with neighboring states.
