Due to the ongoing military conflict in the Middle East, some matches of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 have been postponed. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the travel and security concerns. These matches were to be played at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal. According to the schedule, a total of six ODI matches were to be held between Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and host Nepal from March 10 to March 20. These teams were to reach Nepal, but due to increasing tension in the Middle East, travel arrangements were affected, due to which the matches have been postponed indefinitely.
Nepal Cricket Association gave this information by sharing a post on social media on March 4, 2026. Nepal Cricket Association said. ‘In view of the current situation in the Middle East, the CWC League 2 matches scheduled to begin on March 10 in Kathmandu have been postponed until further notice. The affected matches include matches of Oman, UAE and Nepal. New dates will be announced in the coming days after further talks.
