Tecno has launched a new budget phone in India dubbed the Pop X. The handset comes with a 120Hz display, an IP64 rating, ELLA AI, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Tecno Pop X features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and visuals. It is powered by the UNISOC T7250 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 15 with HiOS 15. For photography, it has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and packs a 5,000mAh battery unit with 15W charging support.

The Tecno Pop X price in India is set at Rs 8,499 for the sole 4GB/64GB model. The phone will be available for purchase via Amazon starting March 6th at 12 PM. As part of a launch offer, the Tecno Pop X can be bought at a discounted price of Rs. 7,749 using an HDFC bank card.
In this price range, the handset will directly compete with the recently launched Ai+ Pulse 2, which offers the same processor and IP rating but packs a larger 6,000mAh battery. Additionally, the AI+ Pulse 2 is priced even more aggressively at ₹5,999.
