What after WBJEE round 2 seat allotment result?
Candidates must pay Rs 5,000 to confirm the seat allotment. The WBJEE round 2 seat allotment result is the final round. The exam conducting authority will not release any score for further upgradation.
The WBJEEB’s official notification reads, ‘It is essential to note that if the seat is upgraded, the earlier allotment will be cancelled, and the seat will then be allotted to other deserving candidates as per merit.’
Candidates who applied for upgradation in the WBJEE round 1, cannot reverse the upgrade or also cannot claim the round 1 seat allotment in round 2 of the counselling process.
Moreover, if the seat is not upgraded, then the round 1 seat will remain reserved or retained for the candidate. However, if the seat is upgraded in round 2 of the counselling, then candidates will not be required to make payment of the seat acceptance fee again.
The WBJEE counselling is conducted for candidates who qualified the WB Joint Entrance Examination to get admission to undergraduate (UG) programmes such as Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma) at universities, government colleges and self-financed institutes in West Bengal.
