Voting will be held in the Parliament House complex today for the Vice Presidential election. The results will come by late evening. With this, it will be decided who will be the 15th Vice President of India. The tenure of the Vice President is 5 years.
Vice President Election: There is election for the post of Vice President on Tuesday. Combat NDA candidate CP Between Radhakrishnan and India Block candidate B Sudarshan Reddy. Voting will be held from 10 am to 5 pm. The votes will be counted from 6 pm in the evening and the results are expected to come by late evening. With this, it will be known who will be the next Vice President of India.
So far 14 people have got the opportunity to serve the country as Vice President. Talking about the longest tenure, it contains two names. The first Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the second Mohammad Hamid Ansari. Both have held this position for 10 years.
