iPad Air (2026) Specifications

The latest iPad Air M4 is up to 30 per cent faster than the iPad Air with M3 and up to 2.3x faster than the iPad Air with M1. The M4 version is offered in two screen sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch, with a Liquid Retina IPS display and comes with 264 ppi pixel density, up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The iPad also comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The iPad Air features N1, an Apple-designed wireless networking chip that enables Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread. Cellular models of iPad Air also feature C1X, designed by Apple, which offers up to 50 per cent faster cellular data performance.

Running iPadOS 26, the iPad Air M4 version has a single 12MP rear camera with up to 5x zoom and a 12MP Center Stage camera at the front. Moreover, the tablet is available in Wi-Fi + Cellular and Wi-Fi-only variants. It is also compatible with Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard, which can be bought separately.

The iPad Air with M4 will be available for pre-order starting March 4, and it will go on sale from March 11. It comes in four colour options – Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Grey.
