Exclusive | Actress Dolly Bindra says ‘Dubai is the safest place to live’ amid Iran strikes

Mumbai: Actress and comedian Dolly Bindra, in an exclusive interview with News9, talked about the situation in the UAE amid the geopolitical crisis. Bindra stated that everything was okay in Dubai and assured that the government was taking care of everything.

“I can assure you, everything is normal. People in Dubai are living a normal life. The administration there is taking care of those stranded in Dubai. Of course, there are alert messages sent to us so that there is no panic, and it is only for our safety,” said Bindra. Further, the comedian went on to request that the public refrain from spreading false news.

“I would like to tell people not to create false news to share with people, and Dubai is the safest place to live in today’s time. It is a converging point for all cultures of the world,” said Bindra.

Many celebrities stuck in Dubai took to social media to talk about the situation. Punjabi star Ammy Virk shared that his wife and he six-year-old daughter were stuck in the UAE. He shared the brave words of his daughter. “Papa, I will hide under my bed if something happens. I’m a strong girl, Papa, don’t worry,” said the young girl to her father.

“The situation in the UAE has been weighing heavily on my heart. My wife and my 6-year-old daughter are there, and as a husband and father, it’s impossible not to feel emotional and tense during times like this,” said the star.

Previously, actress Sonal Chauhan requested the government to help her return to India. “Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji, I am currently stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing crisis. Flights have been cancelled, and there is no clear way to return to India. I’m seeking the government’s guidance and support to help me get back home safely. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance from the Government and guidance for a safe return @meaindia @india_in_dubai,” said Sonal.
