Iran’s IRGC has claimed missile attack on Israeli PM Netanyahu’s office. The Air Force Commander was also targeted in the attack. The incident comes amid rising regional tensions following the death of Iran’s supreme leader.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it has targeted the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in its latest missile attack. The IRGC says it was a ‘surprise’ attack, in which the Israeli Air Force commander’s base was also attacked. According to Iran Times, IRGC has claimed that there is no trace of Netanyahu after this attack and his condition is ‘unclear’.

“The offices of the criminal Israeli PM, Netanyahu, and the commander of the Israeli Air Force were hit with a targeted and surprise attack by Khyber Shakan ballistic missiles during the 10th wave,” IRGC Public Relations reportedly said.

This attack has taken place amid increasing tension between Iran, Israel and America. The scope of this war now seems to be spreading throughout the Middle East, in which Tehran-backed militias have also joined.

Iran fired missiles at Israel and several Arab countries, while Hezbollah attacked Israel from Lebanon with rockets and drones. In response, Israel launched heavy airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon. Lebanese authorities have reported at least 31 deaths. Israel has deployed more than 100,000 reserve troops and warned of a protracted war.

This tension increased further when Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in US-Israeli attacks. Iranian officials say hundreds of people have been killed since the war began. The Iranian Red Crescent reported at least 555 deaths in 131 cities.
