India dismissed Afghanistan twice in the same day to register their biggest Test innings victory at the time and became the first team in Asia to win a Test match inside two days. Afghanistan last played a bilateral series in India in January 2024 before the T20 World Cup 2024.
India and Afghanistan played a three-match T20I series, which the hosts clinched 3-0, including a Super Over victory in the last game.
