According to police sources, on the night of 19 February, Manvendra Singh reached home in an intoxicated state. He had an argument with Akshat and then he went to his room and slept. It is said that he always kept his licensed rifle nearby. After the fight, Akshat remained awake the whole night. Anger, stress and old thoughts brewing in his mind made him restless.
At around four in the morning he suddenly took a decision. He went to his father’s room and shot him with his own rifle. Not only this, according to the police, he later cut the body into several pieces. After the incident, no expressions of remorse were visible on his face, sources related to the investigation claim.
