Maharashtra MPSC CBT Exam: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has taken a big decision. MPSC’s computer based examinations will not be implemented immediately. A new date has been fixed for this. Lakhs of students are happy with this announcement of CM.
Mumbai (Maharashtra): In view of the continuous demands of different student organizations in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held an important meeting. Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Chairman Vivek Bhimanwar, Chief Secretary of the state and senior officials of the General Administration Department attended this meeting held in Mumbai.
According to an official statement issued from the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), in the meeting, CM Fadnavis said, “It has always been my priority that the recruitment process should be completely safe and transparent. Under this, the examination system should also be transparent. The examinations should be conducted on time and their results should also be declared within the stipulated time.”
New examination system will start from August 2027
- CM Fadnavis further said, “But while implementing these reforms, the transition from the existing system to the new system should be very seamless. Every agency associated with it should be given full time to prepare for the changes.”
- The Chief Minister said that therefore these reforms should be implemented in a phase-wise manner. The Computer-Based Testing (CBT) system should not be introduced immediately. Instead, it should be implemented from August 2027. This will provide adequate time to the students to prepare and to all concerned agencies to enhance their preparedness. Till then, the examinations should continue under the existing system.
- He further said, “MPSC should now take necessary decision in this regard.”
- The statement also said that during the meeting, the Chief Minister also appreciated various initiatives taken by the MPSC. (ANI)
