According to IOCL data, there has been an increase in the price of commercial gas cylinders in all four metros of the country for the third consecutive month. An increase of Rs 28 has been seen in the country’s capital Delhi and the price has become Rs 1768.50. Whereas in Kolkata the prices have increased the most by Rs 31 and the price has become Rs 1875.50. Commercial gas cylinder is the cheapest in Mumbai. In March, it increased by Rs 28.5 and the price became Rs 1720.50. In South Chennai, the price of commercial gas cylinder has reached the highest of Rs 1929. The prices here have increased by Rs 29.5 in the month of March.

What was the increase in three consecutive months?

According to IOCL data, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have increased for the third consecutive month in all four metros of the country. In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of commercial gas cylinder has seen an increase of Rs 188 during this period. Whereas in Kolkata, the highest increase of Rs 191.5 has been seen in the prices of commercial gas cylinders. Talking about Mumbai, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have increased by Rs 189. Whereas in Chennai, commercial gas cylinder has become costlier by Rs 189.5 in three consecutive months.

No change in the price of domestic gas cylinder

On the other hand, no relief has been given to the common people in the price of domestic gas cylinders before Holi. The special thing is that there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders since April 8. On that day also, the price of gas cylinder was increased by Rs 50 by the gas companies. According to IOCL data, the price of domestic gas cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi remains at Rs 853. There is no change at Rs 879 in Kolkata and Rs 852.50 in Mumbai. On the other hand, in Chennai it has remained at Rs 868.50 for the last 11 months.
