After the deadly attack on YouTuber Salim Vastik in Ghaziabad, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions for strict action. An FIR has been registered against five accused and 10 special teams have been formed to arrest them. Police investigation and raids are intensified.
Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the deadly attack on YouTuber Salim Vastik in Ghaziabad. He has given clear instructions to the officials that strict and prompt action should be taken in this matter. The Chief Minister said that those spreading terror in the state and playing with law and order will not be spared under any circumstances. He has instructed the police administration to ensure early arrest of the accused and conduct a fair investigation into the entire matter.
Deadly attack on Salim Vastik in Loni area
According to the information, on Friday morning Salim Vastik, resident of Alvi Nagar of Loni area, was attacked in his office located in Ali Garden Colony. It is being told that two unknown assailants riding a bike entered his office and stabbed him several times in the neck and stomach with knives. Salim, who was seriously injured in the attack, was immediately admitted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi, where he was operated on. According to the family, his condition still remains critical.
FIR registered against five accused
In this case, an FIR has been registered against five people on the basis of suspicion based on the complaint filed by Salim’s son Usman. The accused include the names of AIMIM leader Ajgar, Ashraf, Shahrukh, Sonu and Bhati Builder. Police have formed ten special teams to arrest the accused. These teams have been given different responsibilities, so that the absconding accused can be reached quickly.
Raids in Delhi and Ghaziabad, investigation intensified
Last night the police conducted raids at four places. Of these, two locations are said to be in Delhi and two in Ghaziabad. During the raid, the police have found some important clues, on the basis of which the search for the accused has been intensified. According to police officials, possible enmity, ideological differences or other reasons behind the attack are also being investigated. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized and technical evidence is being collected.
Security increased in the area, government strict on law and order
As a precautionary measure, the administration has deployed additional police forces in the area and surveillance has been increased. After the strict stance of the Chief Minister, the police action has intensified. The state government has reiterated that the rule of law is paramount and any kind of violence or anti-social activity will not be tolerated.
