Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur offer prayers at Tirupati temple

In an official statement, Sesh said, “Every film is a leap of faith. We put years of work into something and then place it in the hands of the audience. Starting this journey at Tirupati felt right. It was important for us to begin with gratitude and seek blessings before stepping into the whirlwind of promotions.” The team of Dacoit is expected to visit the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) for the launch of Rubaroo.

Talking to local reporters, Mrunal said in Hindi, “Mera first time hai yahan par aayi, darshan kiya aur film Dacoit ke liye Prarthana ki. Darshan bohot acche se hue. Asha karti hu har saal aati rahu. More about Dacoit

was earlier scheduled to release on March 19 with Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups and Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. However, the three-way clash was averted, allowing breathing space for the action thriller to grow at the box office. Sesh, who is closely monitoring the film’s development and strategy, reportedly feels entering an overcrowded release corridor that could dilute attention across multiple big titles.

Dacoit promises an electrifying cinematic experience, seamlessly blending high-octane action, raw emotion, and gripping drama. With the fiery chemistry between Sesh and Mrunal, and Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role, the film is poised to make a lasting impact.

Marking Shaneil Deo’s directorial debut, Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the film’s story and screenplay have been jointly crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo.
