In Bharat Tax-2026, CM Mohan Yadav invited investors to set up industries by mentioning the investment policies of Madhya Pradesh, PM Mitra Park, cheapest electricity and subsidy of Rs 5500 crore.

Bhopal/New Delhi. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Bharat Tax-2026 program organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Thursday. During this, he held a round table meeting with leading textile investors from India and abroad, industry representatives and global brands. In the meeting, the Chief Minister gave detailed information about the investment-friendly policies of Madhya Pradesh, the possibilities of the textile sector and the facilities available for industries and invited investors to invest in the state.

CM Mohan Yadav said in Bharat Tex-2026, opportunities are increasing in textile sector.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every region of the country is developing rapidly. He said that he comes from Kumbh Nagari, where Kumbh is organized once in 12 years and during that time religious energy is visible in the entire atmosphere. Similarly, a positive and enthusiastic environment of textile industry is being seen in Bharat Tex-2026 also.

He told that last year also Madhya Pradesh had participated in this event, but this time its scope and impact is bigger than before. With the support of the Union Textiles Ministry, the State is making better use of the resources available in the textile and garment industry, leading to a steady increase in both production and employment. He said that this sector is also strengthening the economy of the state.

3 lakh employment, 6 lakh cotton farmers will get benefit from PM Mitra Park

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of the country’s first PM Mitra Park in Dhar district. This project is likely to provide direct and indirect employment to about 3 lakh people. At the same time, more than 6 lakh cotton producing farmers of Malwa-Nimar region will also get direct benefits from it. He said that through PM Mitra Park, the entire supply chain from farm to factory, garment industry and global market will be strengthened. With this, the textile industry of the state will reach new heights.

Experience of industrialists is the biggest strength for the development of the state: CM Mohan Yadav

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that information about all the investment related policies of the government has been given to the investors by the officials, but the experience of industrialists is more important than any policy. He said that the experience and suggestions of entrepreneurs inspire the government to take better decisions and move forward at a faster pace. He assured that Madhya Pradesh is fully prepared to create new opportunities for industry development in collaboration with the Central Government and global brands.

From Maheshwari to Chanderi, CM expressed pride on textile heritage

The Chief Minister said that the textile industry of Madhya Pradesh is linked to centuries old heritage. Referring to the era of King Vikramaditya and Queen Ahilyabai Holkar, he said that they gave a unique identity to Maheshwari saree and worked to strengthen the livelihood of the weavers.

He said that Maheshwari and Chanderi sarees still have their own identity across the country. India’s diversity is its greatest beauty. Banarasi saree is popular in North India while Kanjivaram has special significance in South India. Similarly, Bhagalpuri textile art of Bihar is also liked in the entire country. This diversity of India is its economic and cultural strength.

Government kept all the promises made to investors, gave subsidy of Rs 5500 crore

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government has fulfilled all the promises made to industrialists and investors on time. The subsidy amount has been made available to investors of different sectors as per their eligibility through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). He informed that all pending liabilities till May 2026 have been eliminated. In the last one and a half year, the state government has provided subsidy of about Rs 5500 crore to promote industries.

Industries will get big benefits from cheapest electricity and green energy

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that at present Madhya Pradesh is among those states in the country where the cheapest electricity is available for industries. He said that adequate power generation is being done in the state through hydro power, solar energy and pumped storage projects, due to which industries are getting uninterrupted power.

Urging investors to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh, he said that the state government stands with every investor. He expressed confidence that every investor who comes to Madhya Pradesh once, feels connected with the state. He said that ‘Hriday Pradesh’ welcomes all industrialists and investors with open heart.
