Seeing this brilliant performance of Nabi, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has demanded the selectors to include him in Team India for the upcoming tour of England. In the first innings, Jammu and Kashmir had scored a huge score of 584 runs, in response to which Karnataka team was limited to 293 runs. Nabi’s bowling played an important role in this.

On the basis of this performance, Jammu and Kashmir got a huge lead of 291 runs in the first innings. Aqib Nabi has taken 60 wickets in this season. With this he has become the bowler taking the most wickets in the tournament. He is only the third fast bowler in the history of Ranji Trophy to complete 60 wickets in a season.
