Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 49 development works worth Rs 171 crore in Alirajpur. He paid tribute to Chandrashekhar Azad and announced to build a grand park in Azad Nagar. 170 villages will benefit from the Narmada Irrigation Project.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today gave a new direction to the overall development of Alirajpur district by gifting 49 development works at a cost of Rs 171 crore. These projects aim to strengthen infrastructure, road connectivity and rural infrastructure in the district. By pressing the button of the remote, the Chief Minister inaugurated 14 development works at a cost of Rs 79.92 crore. Besides, bhoomi pujan of 35 works costing Rs 119.01 crore was also done.
He announced construction of various roads to strengthen village connectivity in the district. On this occasion, benefits and certificates were distributed to the beneficiaries of Self-Help Groups, Bank Loan Distribution, Chief Minister Enterprise Revolution Scheme and Prime Minister Micro Food Enterprise Scheme.
Chandrashekhar Azad Balidan Diwas: Tribute in Bhabhara (Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar)
On the martyrdom day of Martyr Chandrashekhar Azad, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached his birthplace Bhabhara (Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar) and paid tribute to him. The Chief Minister said that immortal martyr Chandrashekhar was the bright voice of the revolution of independent India. He chose the path of struggle for the independence of the country at the age of just 14.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is working with the resolve for the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth and women by taking inspiration from the lives of the revolutionaries. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has become the fourth largest economy in the world. He said that along with Gujarat, economic changes have also been seen in Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Alirajpur is the land of culture and self-respect of the Bhil tribe, whose glorious tradition is being carried forward.
Chandrashekhar Azad Memorial Park: A grand park will be built in Azad Nagar.
The Chief Minister paid homage to local faith symbols Baba Bhilat Dev, Baba Dungar Dev, Baba Patla Dev, Rani Kajal Mata, Dungri Mata and Malwai Mata. He said that the holy land of Alirajpur gave birth to brave sons like Chandrashekhar Azad and Martyr Chhitu Kirar. With the help of the Culture Department, places associated with Chandrashekhar Azad will be developed and made visible. A grand park will be constructed in his name in Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar.
Narmada Sinchai Pariyojana: 170 villages benefit from irrigation project worth Rs 1800 crore
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that the work of Narmada Irrigation Project at a cost of Rs 1800 crore is in progress in Alirajpur. This project will provide water for irrigation to 170 villages. He said that farmers of tribal areas will be provided full benefit of irrigation facilities. The state government has dedicated the year 2026 to farmers.
Ladli Behna Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and public welfare schemes
The Chief Minister said that every month an assistance amount of Rs 1500 is being given to the beloved sisters. Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, 12 thousand rupees (6 thousand central and 6 thousand state) are being given directly into the bank account of eligible farmers every year. To help the poor and needy people of the state, arrangements for free hearses have been made in the districts. Rahveer Yojana has been started to provide prompt treatment to those injured in road accidents. A free coaching scheme has also been started to advance tribal children in studies and to provide them opportunities in government services.
