Samsung has officially launched its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, in India. This phone has been introduced with Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ models. The Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with a premium design, better ruggedness and many new AI features, making it a big challenger to the iPhone.
This phone has a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which has a resolution of 3120 × 1440 pixels and supports 120Hz refresh rate. This screen comes with 10-bit color support. There is also a new privacy display feature, which blurs the screen when viewed at an angle of more than 30 degrees. Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass has been provided to protect the screen. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 60W wired fast charging and 25W wireless charging. It measures 163.6 × 78.1 × 7.9 mm and weighs 214 grams, making it Samsung’s thinnest Ultra model to date.
Talking about performance, this phone has Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. This smartphone runs on One UI 8.5 software based on Android 16. In terms of camera, its 200-megapixel primary sensor is the biggest attraction. Apart from this, it has a quad camera setup consisting of a 50MP periscope telephoto (5x optical zoom), 50MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto (3x zoom) lenses. It also supports 8K video recording and HDR10+. For selfies and video calling, it has a 12MP front camera, which can record 4K videos. The phone also includes several Galaxy AI features, such as Now Assist, Call Screen, Photo Assist, Creative Studio, and Privacy Alerts, which improve the user experience.
Its 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 1,39,999 in India. Whereas, the price of 12GB + 512GB variant has been kept at Rs 1,59,999 and the price of 16GB + 1TB model has been kept at Rs 1,89,999. This phone will be available in black, blue, purple and white colors. Its sale will start on Amazon India and Samsung India’s online store.
