Rangbhari Ekadashi 2026 Tulsi Remedy: Today is the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month. It is known as Amalaki and Rangbhari Ekadashi. Holi starts with Rangbhari Ekadashi in Kashi, the city of Lord Shiva. Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are worshiped on this day. Since this is Ekadashi date, there is a tradition of fasting for Lord Vishnu on this day.
By observing fast on this day and worshiping Narayan, life is filled with colors of happiness. Some special remedies related to Tulsi Mata have also been mentioned in our scriptures on this day, by doing which a person’s sleeping fortune can shine, but keep in mind that offering water to Tulsi and plucking its leaves is prohibited on the day of Ekadashi.
Tulsi remedies on Rangbhari Ekadashi
- On Rangbhari Ekadashi, light 11 ghee lamps near Tulsi in the evening and chant ‘Mahaprasad Janani’ mantra 11 times. With this every crisis is averted.
- Apply tilak of soil of basil root. This increases confidence and energy.
- Offer red chunari to Tulsi Maa. This brings blessings of both Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Blessings remain in the house.
- Sitting near Tulsi, chant a rosary of the mantra ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay’ 108 times. With this every wish is fulfilled.
- Mix basil leaves in raw cow’s milk and offer it to Lord Vishnu. This opens the doors of happiness and prosperity.
- Take Ganga water in a vessel, add dry basil leaves to it and sprinkle it all over the house. This removes negativity.
- Sit near Tulsi and recite ‘Tulsi Namashtak’ (8 names of Mother Tulsi). This removes obstacles in marital life.
- Donate Tulsi Manjari to any temple. This is considered very auspicious. This removes obstacles in career and business.
