After the arrival of the new youth president in BJP, now preparations have started to give a youth shape to the national organization as well. Preference will be given to leaders below 60 years of age at the level of General Secretary and Secretary.
However, there is definitely a possibility of experienced senior leaders getting a place at the level of Vice President. More than half of the new office-bearers are likely to join the party, of which about half will be brought into the central organization from different states. After the arrival of young Nitin Naveen on the post of National President of BJP, there is a strong possibility of new and relatively young leaders getting a place in his team.
According to sources, to prepare the future BJP, about 60 percent of the 40 national office bearers including the President will be new faces. There is a possibility of appointment of officials below 60 years of age at the level of General Secretary and Secretary. There may be some flexibility regarding age at the vice president level so that experienced leaders can be accommodated in the organization. In the new changes, it is considered almost certain that more than half of the faces of the current team will be changed.
Sources say that the current general secretaries and secretaries above 60 years of age can now get a new role. The situation regarding the Organization General Secretary is not clear yet, but there is talk of change there too.
According to sources, preparations are on to replace the five general secretaries of the current team with new faces. Apart from the President, the national office bearers of the party include 13 Vice Presidents, 10 General Secretaries, 15 Secretaries and one Treasurer. According to sources, the number of women in the organization will increase compared to the first time. Although in the constitution of BJP there should be one-third i.e. about 13 women officials, but this was possible only once during the presidential tenure of Rajnath Singh. All parts of the country will be represented in the new national team and a balance of caste and social equations will also be maintained.
Preparations have started for the new team of BJP, but its announcement may take time, because the party is more focused on the Parliament session and upcoming elections. Since the changes are to take place on a wide scale, extensive discussions are yet to take place at many levels.
