Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav virtually addressed the inauguration program of the divine pillar of Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati in Seoni. He reiterated the resolve for Sanatan culture, nation building and development of Shri Krishna Teerth.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the life of Brahmalin Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati is an inspiring example of Indian culture, eternal tradition and dedication towards nation building. He said that the installation of Swamiji’s divine pillar in Seoni, his birthplace, is a matter of pride for the entire state. This memorial will inspire the coming generations with his thoughts and ideals. On Friday, the Chief Minister virtually attended and addressed the inauguration program of Shankaracharya Chowk located at Seoni district headquarters from Jabalpur Airport.
Inspirational message for Sanatan culture and nation building
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is the responsibility of all of us to adopt the thoughts and values of Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati in our lives and spread them widely in the society. He said that the state government is working towards good governance by taking inspiration from Sanatan values. The government’s effort is to advance development while preserving cultural and spiritual heritage.
Development of pilgrimage sites associated with Lord Krishna
The Chief Minister said that all the places related to the activities of Lord Krishna in the state are being developed as pilgrimage sites. This will promote religious tourism and also strengthen the local economy. He said that it is the priority of the government to take spiritual heritage and modern development together.
Spiritual contribution of Adi Shankaracharya and Swaroopananda Saraswati
On the occasion of inauguration of the divine pillar, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj threw light on the life of Adi Shankaracharya and his contribution to Sanatan Dharma. Recalling the spiritual contribution of Brahmalin Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and his commitment towards national religion, he said that his life is a guide for the society and the nation.
