The strategic partnership between Uttar Pradesh and Yamanashi province of Japan has gained new strength. 200 Japanese CEOs will visit UP in August. Important MoUs have been signed to promote green hydrogen, clean energy and industrial investment.

Yamanashi (Japan)/Lucknow. Under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a new chapter of strategic partnership is starting between Uttar Pradesh and Yamanashi province of Japan. In the meeting held on Thursday, Yamanashi Governor Kotaro Nagasaki proposed to come to Uttar Pradesh with 200 Japanese CEOs in the month of August. The Chief Minister warmly welcomed this proposal. Both sides agreed to increase cooperation in important sectors like industry, tourism and vocational education. An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed in this direction, which will further strengthen the relations between the two regions.

Special cooperation in green hydrogen and clean energy

Green hydrogen, clean energy innovation and technological exchange have been given special priority in the signed MoU. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that IIT Kanpur is being developed as a center of excellence in the field of green hydrogen. This initiative is a big step towards making Uttar Pradesh energy self-reliant and will help in carrying forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will increase new technology, investment and employment opportunities in the state.

Proposed visit of 200 Japanese CEOs to UP in August

Governor Kotaro Nagasaki is proposed to visit Uttar Pradesh with 200 Japanese CEOs in August.
