Two vehicles got trapped in a huge sinkhole caused by a road collapse in Omaha, America. This incident happened due to breaking of water main line. It is fortunate that no driver was injured in this accident.
A shocking video has emerged from America’s Omaha city. Here on Tuesday afternoon, a road suddenly caved in at a busy intersection and a huge sinkhole was formed. Within no time two vehicles got stuck in this pit. Traffic camera footage shows that an SUV and a pickup truck were standing at a red light. Then the ground below them caved in and both the vehicles fell into a pit several feet deep.
According to the police, it was fortunate that no driver was injured in this accident. The driver of the pickup truck himself managed to get out of the pit. He then immediately along with bystanders helped in saving the driver of the SUV, who was stuck below the road level.

“We are grateful to those who responded quickly and quickly provided assistance,” Omaha police spokeswoman Officer Sarah Martire said in a statement.
According to Omaha Public Works, the sinkhole was caused by a water main break under the road. The Metropolitan Utilities District, which manages the city’s water system, has not yet responded to the incident.
