There was an uproar in Shahbazpur, a middle school in Khizarasarai block of Gaya district, when a student of fifth grade, angry with the beating of a student, reached the school with sticks and started beating the accused teacher.
It is being told that teacher Rakesh Ranjan Srivastava had beaten the student, due to which the child reached home crying and informed the family about the incident. Angry family members reached the school and attacked the teacher. However, other teachers present in the school intervened and caught the accused family, which averted a major incident.
After the incident, there was chaos in the school premises for a long time. The video of this entire case has gone viral on social media. Villagers say that when beating in schools is banned, why did the teacher kill the student? The aggrieved teacher Rakesh Ranjan Srivastava has pleaded for his safety by applying to Khizarasarai police station.
Although Khizarasarai police station president Ranjan Kumar said that he has received information about the incident, but so far no written application has been received from the teacher. At present, the police is investigating the case and the situation in the school remains normal.
