New Delhi: Another horrific incident occurred in Delhi-NCR when a young boy was shot dead outside his house in broad daylight in Greater Noida on Tuesday, February 24. The assassination was recorded on the CCTV cameras.
The incident was reported in the Ecotech-1 police area, as from the footage, three assailants opened fire and shot the victim and then fled away from the scene. The attack triggered panic among the residents in the area.
The victim is identified as Nitin, a resident of Luksar, and the killing is said to be due to an enmity between two groups. The victim’s father was also shot by Sachin and his associates over a rivalry.
Nitin was dragged by three men to the ground, where a woman came close to the victim to help him, but the assailants threatened the woman with a firearm.
CCTV footage shows multiple rounds were fired at Nitin, and after the accused fled away from the scene, the victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead during treatment.
Police arrive at the scene
Police officials arrived at the crime scene with a forensic team. The forensic team examined the whole area. An informant filed a complaint about the incident, and based on that, an FIR has been lodged in the matter.
Immediately, police detained two suspects in custody through raids and CCTV video. The main accused is still absconding, and special teams have been formed to trace him.
Meanwhile, the accused was recently released from jail, and the victim had also been in prison earlier in a murder case. It has been alleged that, soon after the accused was released from jail, members of his side planned the assassination of a rival member.
