Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Modi. He described the trade deal with America as disastrous for the country, which will ruin the agro-textile sector. He accused the government of suppressing the voice of the opposition and bowing to America due to blackmail.
Bhopal: Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has made sharp attacks on the foreign and economic policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government. At the Congress Kisan Maha Chaupal organized in Bhopal, he alleged that the government was suppressing the voice of the opposition in Parliament and he was not given a chance to speak despite trying several times. Rahul claimed that the new trade deal with America will destroy the country and Modi has bowed down to America to save himself from corruption charges.
Rahul said that the government ignored the serious questions raised by former Army Chief General Naravane on Chinese infiltration. Even when Defense Minister Rajnath Singh asked what to do, the Prime Minister remained silent. According to Rahul, the government was running away from taking a political decision on this issue. He also alleged that the deal with America was signed without informing the Parliament or the Cabinet. The country came to know about this from Donald Trump. Rahul claimed that the names of Prime Minister Modi, Ambani and Hardeep Singh Puri are in the Epstein file and due to the fear of blackmailing, Modi has completely surrendered to America. He also called the Prime Minister a liar.
He further said that due to this new deal, India’s agriculture and textile sector has been ruined. Rahul asked, ‘Don’t you see that Trump got a setback from the US Supreme Court itself?’ He said that this agreement has caused huge loss to the country. Rahul alleged that Modi has mortgaged the future of the coming generations in the hands of foreigners. He made it clear that he was not afraid of the arrest of anyone, including the Youth Congress President, and the protests would continue with more strength. Rahul sarcastically said that the Prime Minister is hiding after signing the deal.
