During CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore, an MoU for investment of Rs 4458 crore was signed with AI Sats. Cargo campus and air catering kitchen will be built at Noida International Airport in Jewar, which will give a big boost to North India in logistics, exports and employment.
Singapore/Lucknow. On the second day of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore, Uttar Pradesh got a big gift in the form of global investment. Under his leadership, the Uttar Pradesh government signed an important MoU with AI SATS, a leading company in the aviation service sector. Under this agreement, the company will set up two big projects at Noida International Airport in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar. These projects include a modern cargo campus and a world-class air catering kitchen. A total investment of Rs 4458 crore will be made in these two projects.
Noida International Airport Jewar: North India’s new cargo hub
As per the MoU, AI SATS will develop a state-of-the-art cargo campus at the Jewar Airport complex. This cargo campus will become a major center of air freight and logistics not only for Uttar Pradesh but for the entire North India. This project will give impetus to export and import activities. Especially sectors like electronics, pharma and agricultural products are likely to get big benefits. Jewar Airport is being developed with multi-modal connectivity, which will ease cargo movement through road, rail and other transport facilities. With this, this airport will emerge as a strategic hub for international trade.
Air Catering Kitchen Project: World class facility at Jewar Airport
Under the second part of the MoU, a state-of-the-art air catering kitchen will be set up at Noida International Airport. This kitchen will prepare high quality food for the flights operating from here. The special thing is that the food prepared here will not be limited to Jewar Airport only. It will also be supplied to other airports in North India. This will strengthen the food processing industry and supply chain network. Besides this, thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities will also be created.
