Pre-mix ingredients
You need 1 cup almonds, 1 cup pistachios, 1 cup cashews, ½ cup melon seeds, ¼ cup poppy seeds, ¼ cup fennel, ¼ cup cardamom powder, ¼ cup black pepper, ¼ cup dried rose petals, ½ cup sugar, 4 cups milk powder, 4 cups powdered sugar.
Make pre-mix powder in this way
It takes you 5 to 8 minutes just to collect all the things. After this, blend all the nuts and seeds like pistachios, cashews, almonds. When it becomes like powder, take it out in a plate. After this, grind poppy seeds and fennel and make powder. After this, sugar, black pepper and rose petals have to be ground. Now mix everything. In this you have to add milk powder and sugar powder. In this way your thandai premix will be ready.

How to make Thandai?
If your blender is good then you can make powder by grinding all the things together. Fill it in an airtight container and store it. To make thandai on Holi, put two to three spoons of pre-mix in a glass. Add cold water to it. Your thandai is ready. If you want, you can also use milk instead of water. This will give even better taste and texture. Serve it garnished with rose petals.
