According to the report of Variety India, Yash Raj Films had got a streaming deal of Rs 215 crore with Netflix. But the production company rejected this offer and said that they will release it in theaters first. YRF spokesperson said in a statement that Alpha will be released in theaters only. He termed the news of the film coming directly on OTT as a rumour. He said that an attempt is being made to misrepresent it. This film is made for release in theatres, so it will not be streamed on OTT first.
