New Delhi. Tata has launched its new 2026 Tiago and Tiago EV facelift for sale in India. The updated Tiago lineup is available in six trims and 11 variants, priced between Rs 4.69 lakh and Rs 7.99 lakh. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of facelifted Tiago EV ranges from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh. Prices for the BaaS (Battery as a Service) model of the Tiago EV start at Rs 4.69 lakh, and there is a charge of Rs 2.6 per kilometer for battery rental.
Major changes have been made in both these hatchbacks (ICE and EV) in terms of design and features, but there is no change in their powertrain. Tata Motors has also announced that all its electric models will now get Lifetime Unlimited Kilometer Warranty, which is being offered for the first time in India in this segment.
What is special in the design?
The front look of the new Tata Tiago and Tiago EV has been completely changed. It has newly designed headlamps with eyebrow shaped LED DRLs. The petrol model has a new black grille, while the electric version gets a body-coloured grille.
The updated Tiago also gets redesigned pixel-shaped fog lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, new rims and black wheel arches, black lower section with air intakes and an updated rear bumper. Besides, new connected LED tail lamps are also available in it.
The new Tiago EV gets black trims in place of fog lamps, ‘Tata.ev’ badging on the front doors and tailgate and new connected LED taillamps, which give it a fresh look.

Inside, the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift gets black and gray colored fabric seat upholstery and a redesigned dashboard with a free-standing driver display. There is also a slightly updated steering wheel with black window control switches and a gloss black panel.
The new Tata Tiago EV 2026 facelift comes with gray fabric upholstery, ‘Tata.ev’ branding on the steering wheel and silver finished window control switches. Tata has equipped both the facelift models with many new features, such as a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new 12.7-inch part-digital TFT instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, dual wireless phone charger and AC vents at the rear.
Engine and gearbox options
The same 86bhp 1.2L petrol engine as the old model has been used in the new Tata Tiago 2026 facelift. The dual-cylinder technology has been retained in the CNG version, while its AMT version now comes with segment-first paddle shifters. Manual and AMT gearbox options will continue to be available in the hatchback lineup as before.
The updated Tata Tiago EV retains the 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs, which offer a claimed range of 285km and 226km respectively. Tata is offering lifetime unlimited kilometer warranty on the 24kWh version and 8 years/1.6 lakh kilometer battery warranty on the 19.2kWh version. This EV can do top-up charging of up to 100 kilometers in just 18 minutes.
