A 23-year-old woman was shot dead two months after her marriage in Patti, Punjab. This incident was captured in CCTV. Police have identified the accused Karan and started searching. This is the second recent major shooting in the area.

According to reports, as soon as the woman came out of the house, the attacker opened fire on her. CCTV footage of this incident has gone viral on social media, after which people are expressing deep concern about the safety of the common man in Punjab. Many people have written that law and order has completely broken down in the area. This incident comes after the recent shooting death of a sarpanch in Tarn Taran. Punjab Police has said that the person who shot the new bride has been identified as Karan and a search has been started for him.
House destroyed after two months of marriage
23 year old Ruby was married to Ansh Grover only two months ago. This incident happened right in front of the gate of his house in Garden Colony of Patti on Saturday (21st February) evening. Ansh Grover was sitting on his scooter outside the house when an attacker reached there and started beating him. When Ruby protested, the attacker shot her. It is clearly visible in the CCTV footage that Ansh ran away from there as soon as Ruby was shot. Ansh Grover’s mother Reenu Bala told that an unknown boy shot Ruby near the gate. Seriously injured Ruby was immediately taken to Patti Civil Hospital. The doctors there described his condition as critical, after which he was referred to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar. But according to reports, he had died on the way.

Second major incident in the area
Police officials told the media that a case has been registered in this matter and investigation has started. According to the police, the attacker has been identified as Karan, a resident of Patti. Raids are being conducted in search of him. However, the reason for the firing is not yet clear. This is the second major incident after a sarpanch was shot dead in Tarn Taran district a few days ago. In the first incident, Sarpanch Harbhjinder Singh of Thathiyan Mahantan village was murdered during a wedding ceremony. The accused have not been identified yet in that case.
