Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Custom Launched – Rarest Rs 5.75 Lakh Edition Has Only 25 Units

Royal Enfield has launched a limited-edition Shotgun 650 built with custom bikemaker Rough Crafts priced at Rs 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom) with only 25 units allocated for India out of 100 made worldwide. That’s a Rs 1.59 lakh premium over the standard top-spec Shotgun 650 which costs Rs 4.16 lakh, for a bike that’s mechanically identical underneath. This matters because registrations open now but only the first 25 buyers in India will actually get one, making timing more important than budget for anyone interested. Here’s what makes this edition different and how to actually secure one before the slots run out.

What Makes It Different?

The bike draws directly from the Caliber Royale, a one-off custom Rough Crafts first showed at EICMA 2025 before it appeared again at Motoverse 2025 in India. It carries a Gloss Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black paint scheme finished with hand-applied gold leaf detailing and grey accents, a cast brass badge marking the collaboration, individually numbered tank plaques, black bar-end mirrors, a quilted leather seat, contrast-cut alloy wheels and gold-finished fork tubes. Every buyer also receives a numbered print of the original Caliber Royale sketch, signed by Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition India sale is scheduled for July 30 at 7pm IST

How To Buy One?

Registrations are open globally through the   app and website but the actual India sale is scheduled for July 30 at 7pm IST and allocation works strictly on a first-come basis: only the first 25 customers to complete registration in India get a unit.

Anyone waiting until the drop window itself risks missing out since demand for limited Royal Enfield collaborations has historically outpaced supply within minutes of past similar drops.

Is It Mechanically Different?

No. The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts uses the same 648cc parallel-twin engine as the standard motorcycle with no changes to performance, suspension or braking. The entire premium here is for the styling package, the limited-run exclusivity and the signed artwork, not for any added mechanical capability which is worth weighing against the standard Shotgun 650 before deciding if the extra Rs 1.59 lakh is justified for your own use case.
