CM Yogi Adityanath signed MoU on technical and vocational education with ITE College in Singapore. The focus will be on aviation, data centre, mechatronics and MRO training. This will provide global level skills and employment to the youth of Jewar Airport and UP.
Singapore/Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday witnessed the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) related to strengthening technical and vocational education at a program organized at ITE College Central on the first day of his visit to Singapore. This initiative is considered important towards creating skilled human resources at par with global standards for the rapidly developing infrastructure and employment system of Uttar Pradesh.
ITE Singapore Model: Industry Integrated Training and Inspection of Modern Labs
The Chief Minister visited the ITE College campus and the Aviation Hub. He closely observed the system of Integrated Training (Industry-Integrated Training Model) with industries. He appreciated the modern laboratories, training facilities and practical education methodology. After this the Chief Minister held a detailed meeting with ITE Education Services (ITEES). During this, there was discussion on sharing experience and expertise and working together in the field of technical education and skill development.
Aviation, Data Center & Mechatronics Training: Priority sectors decided
The Chief Minister invited ITE Institute of Singapore for focused and result oriented cooperation with Uttar Pradesh. Key areas prioritized for cooperation include aviation, data center operations and mechatronics (combination of mechanical and electronic technology). Under the proposed collaboration, such skill development programs will be prepared which train the youth as per the actual needs of the industries.
Jewar Airport & Aviation Ecosystem: Specialized training in MRO and cargo operations
Under this framework, Uttar Pradesh can start specialized training programs in Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), Cargo Operations, Mechatronics and Airside Logistics in collaboration with leading institutions like ITE Singapore. This initiative will be helpful in creating a skilled workforce for Jewar Airport and its associated wider aviation ecosystem. With this, the youth of the state will get international level employment opportunities.
UP Government Action Plan: Assurance of speedy implementation of MoU
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured that the Uttar Pradesh government will prepare a concrete action plan to implement these MoUs soon. The objective is that the youth of the state get training as per international standards and get better employment opportunities. This initiative is considered to lay a strong foundation for the next phase of infrastructure based development of Uttar Pradesh.
