You need betel leaves 6-7 pieces, fennel seeds 1 to 1.5 spoons, desiccated coconut 2 spoons, cardamom powder half spoon, ice cubes as per requirement, Gulkand 2 spoons, green food color (optional), sugar powder ¼ cup.

Make paste like this

  • First of all, you have to take 6-7 betel leaves, wash them thoroughly and cut them. Put it in the grinder jar.
  • Now add one and a half teaspoon fennel, 3-4 ice cubes, 2 teaspoon grated coconut in the grinder and grind everything.
  • When all these things are ground a little, add Gulkand to it and also add a little food color. It has to be ground once again so that a smooth paste is made.
  • You can store it in an airtight container; whenever you wish, you can make a creamy drink out of it and drink it.
  • It would be best to prepare this paste a day before Holi and then on the festival day, serve fresh paan-gulkand drink to the guests in just 5 minutes.

How to make a drink in 5 minutes?

When guests come, you can prepare this drink and serve it immediately. For this, put 1 to 2 spoons of betel paste, powdered sugar as required for sweetness, cold milk and cream in a glass. Blend it with a hand blender or mix it well with a spoon. If you want, you can prepare it by putting it in a grinder. Garnish with dried rose petals and serve.
