Will there be relief from inflation? Will soap and oil become cheaper…hint received from FMCG companies

There is a big question in the minds of common people regarding the prices of daily used items like soap, oil, biscuits and packed food, will these things become cheaper now? The latest signals from the country’s big FMCG companies have raised hopes that there may be relief in the coming months. Companies have also given information about their costs, after which it is being speculated that the prices of FMCG products may increase in the coming days.

Companies say that in the recent past, the inflation of raw materials had increased their expenses, but now the situation is getting better. The prices of edible oil, wheat, coconut and some essential chemicals have softened. This has reduced the cost pressure on companies. When costs remain manageable, there is less need to increase prices.

Brightness will return to the market

Industry leaders believe that the basis of their earnings in the next financial year will be sales volume rather than increasing prices. That means companies want to achieve growth by selling more goods. Good harvest, increased minimum support price (MSP) and improvement in GST rates are expected to boost demand in both rural and urban areas. This can bring enthusiasm back into the market.

Dabur India CEO Mohit Malhotra has also indicated that inflation is now gradually coming under control and some raw materials have become cheaper. At the same time, the management of Marico and Britannia Industries has also said that the prices are currently stable and the demand is showing improvement. Although it would be too early to expect a large-scale price drop immediately, the signs are clear that if raw materials remain cheap and demand remains strong, then customers may definitely get some relief in the times to come.
