From virgin wife to sex life of older men… Neena Gupta’s opinion is shocking. Neena Gupta Slams Indian Men For Still Wanting Virgin Wives

Neena Gupta said in a podcast that most Indian men still want ‘virgin’ wives. She also talked about the patriarchy faced by women after marriage and the sex life of older men.

Veteran Bollywood actress Neena Gupta is that person, who speaks her heart directly without any pretense. Recently in Subhankar Mishra’s podcast, he said some things which are a bit shocking. One of these things was about the mentality of Indian men. According to him, even today most Indian men want a girl who is ‘virgin’ for marriage. Neena says what a strange thinking this is, I don’t understand.

Neena said, “Even today, most of the men in India want ‘virgin’ wives. What has changed in the society? How do people say that they have an open mind? Women still touch the feet of their father-in-law with pallu on their head. There are very few people like you, me and us, who talk openly and live their own way. The real India is something else.”

She further said that Indian women even today have to face patriarchy and old thinking in their in-laws. Even though people say that times have changed now, the reality is something else. Giving some examples from his own family, he said that after marriage, women do not get the freedom to fulfill even their smallest desires.

Neena Gupta shared an anecdote from her family. He told, “A relative of my father’s was married to a guy who worked in a big finance company in Mumbai. She was a devotee of Sai Baba and kept his picture in her room. But her mother-in-law got the picture removed and forced her to put up her Guruji’s picture.”

Giving another example, she said, “My brother’s daughter was not allowed by her mother-in-law to even keep her family’s photo on the bedside table. It will take a long time for a real change in the thinking of women.”

Neena Gupta became the mother of daughter Masaba Gupta at the age of 30. He raised Masaba alone. Neena says that the decision of becoming a single mother proved to be right in her life, but she would not advise it to everyone.

‘Older men do this work more!’

In the same podcast, intimacy and sex life of older people was also discussed. Shubhankar quoted a sexologist who said, “Older people have too much sex.” Neena was surprised to hear this and jokingly asked, “Really? Do older people have more sex?” But then he took the matter further and said, “Yes, but he does not do this with his wife. I have seen many such cases.” She also told a bitter truth that when she was studying in university, most of the people who touched women inappropriately on the bus were older men.

Neena Gupta’s own life has also been full of ups and downs. He first married Amlan Kusum Ghosh in 1977, which did not last long. After this, in the 1980s, she had an affair with West Indies cricketer Sir Vivian Richards, who was already married. Both of them did not marry and had a daughter, Masaba Gupta. Neena brought up Masaba alone with great courage. After living alone for many years, Neena Gupta married Delhi-based chartered accountant Vivek Mehra in 2008.
