CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program in Meerut. Western UP will get a new impetus to development with the launch of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and Meerut Metro. More than one lakh people are likely to participate in the program.

Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Meerut on Saturday afternoon. He reviewed the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program to be held on Sunday and gave necessary directions to the officials. The Chief Minister inspected the venue, railway station and other major places. He said that considering the grandeur and importance of the program, all the arrangements should be completely organized and safe.

Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and Meerut Metro: Development of Western Uttar Pradesh will get new momentum

The Chief Minister said that the expansion of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and the launch of Meerut Metro will give a big boost to the urban and industrial development of Western Uttar Pradesh. He said that this project will provide fast, safe and modern transportation facility. This will give a new impetus to economic, educational and industrial activities between Delhi-NCR and Western UP. The Chief Minister estimated that more than one lakh people could participate in the program. Therefore, all the arrangements should be well organized and operated smoothly.

Special emphasis on security arrangements and traffic management

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to make parking and traffic management at the venue effective. He asked to install adequate number of CCTV cameras in the venue and surrounding areas and ensure multi-layered security arrangements. The Chief Minister said in clear words that any kind of negligence in security and order will not be accepted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate projects worth Rs 12,930 crore

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation several important projects completed at a cost of Rs 12,930 crore. These include a corridor of about five kilometers from Sarai Kale Khan to New Ashok Nagar in Delhi, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail from Meerut South to Modipuram and Meerut Metro Rail service. The Prime Minister will launch these projects in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a program organized at Mohiuddinpur Rally Ground in Meerut.

Green flag from Shatabdi Nagar station, will address public meeting in Meerut

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Meerut Metro and Namo Bharat train from Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat station. After this they will travel by metro till Meerut South station. The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting organized in Meerut.

Public representatives and administrative officers were present during the inspection

During the Chief Minister’s inspection, State Government Minister of State Dinesh Khatik, Meerut MP Arun Govil, Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia, Legislative Council member Ashwini Tyagi and BJP regional president Satyendra Sisodia and officials of local administration and police were present.
