Kasganj: In a shocking incident, five members of a family died by suicide in a house in Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. After receiving the information, the police recovered the bodies of the parents and their three children.

Sharing details, the police said that Satyendra alias Fauji used to live in the house with his wife, two daughters, and a son. Late Saturday evening, Satyendra’s body was found hanging, while the bodies of his wife and children were lying on the bed. They took the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examination. An FIR has been filed in the case.
It may be noted that the house was locked from the inside for three days. There was no sound or movement from inside the house. On Saturday evening, when neither the husband, wife, nor the children’s voices were heard from the house, the neighbours became suspicious. They immediately informed the police. A police team arrived at the scene and knocked on the main gate. After getting no response, the police broke open the door. Upon entering the room, they found the bodies of family members.
Senior police officers reach spot
According to the police, while the age of the two daughters were 12 and 10 years old respectively, the son was 8 years old. Soon, senior district officials, including the District Magistrate (DM), Superintendent of Police (SP), and the police, too, reached the spot. The FSL team collected evidence from the scene after reaching the house. The bodies were later sent for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, In a separate incident, a young man died by suicide by jumping from the 20th floor of the Paramount Golf Foreste Society located in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. After reaching the spot, the police took possession of the man’s body and sent it for post-mortem. The deceased, identified as Arjun Tomar, was a final-year B.Tech student.
