During the budget discussion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that he has presented his views in detail on the agriculture budget and the Agriculture Minister also gave a comprehensive presentation on the subject. He said that he prays to God that like the Agriculture Minister, the farmers of the state also remain healthy and strong. He clarified that the aim of the government is to increase the income of farmers and improve their efficiency and standard of living.

Big change in rural employment scheme: employment from 100 days to 125 days

The Chief Minister said that earlier there was a provision of 100 days of work in the Rural Employment Scheme, but it was not mandatory. Even after asking for work, employment was not provided on time and payment was also delayed. If 100 days’ work was not given then there was no obligation to pay allowance. Now, under the new system, employment has been ensured for 125 days. If there is no time for farming and a villager asks for employment, it will be mandatory for the village head to provide the job. If work is not given, it has also been ensured to give unemployment allowance.

Improvement in MNREGA: No more ‘dig and fill pits’, permanent construction work

The Chief Minister said that the form in which MNREGA was implemented during the earlier Congress rule was not practical. A situation like “dig the hole and fill it” was created. He told that when he was an MP, he had also raised questions on this. Now permanent and permanent construction work is being done under the scheme. Permanent assets are being created in the villages under the ‘Vikas Bharat Ji Ram Ji’ scheme. Safe places for markets are being developed in villages.

Safe vegetable market, Amrit Sarovar and rural infrastructure

The Chief Minister said that earlier vegetable markets were located on the roads, due to which there was a risk of traffic jams and accidents. Now, under the scheme, safe market places, platforms and markets are being created. Along with this, Amrit Sarovar is being constructed, which is promoting water conservation and rural beautification. This will strengthen the rural economy.

Changed perception and investment environment of Uttar Pradesh

The Chief Minister said that in the Samajwadi Party government, only announcements were made, there were no results. But the present government has put the schemes on the ground. He said that today the citizens of Uttar Pradesh proudly call themselves residents of the state. A transparent system has been implemented in the state. Now there is no ‘pick and choose’ in investment and industrialists from India and abroad want to invest in UP.

Reduction in school drop out rate and composite school scheme.

The Chief Minister said that during the Samajwadi government, the drop out rate in primary schools was 6 to 7 percent. The present government has worked to bring it down from almost zero to 3 percent. The government is working on a plan to build 8000 composite schools in 8000 Nyaya Panchayats. Education from pre-primary to class 12 will be held in a single campus in an area of ​​12 to 15 acres. Along with education, skill development and sports facilities will also be available here. He said that preparations are being made to provide cashless facility to all teachers and non-teaching staff.

Benefits of government schemes to all sections

The Chief Minister said that Samajwadi Pension was limited to only one section, but the present government is giving the benefits of the schemes to everyone without any discrimination. State Data Authority has been formed to improve the schemes. The government aims to develop a data center of 5 gigawatt capacity by 2030. For this, 4-5 big data center clusters are being built. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made in the budget.

MoU with Robotics Mission and IIT Kanpur

The Chief Minister said that robotics will be used in tasks like lifting heavy loads. Medicines are being sprayed in the fields through drones, so that farmers can be saved from losses. In this direction, a Center of Excellence is being established by signing an MOU with IIT Kanpur. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for the Robotics Mission.

Big announcement for artificial intelligence and youth

The Chief Minister announced that the free AI version will be provided to 25 lakh youth. Youth will be trained in robotics, drone training, AI, data science and machine learning. AI based startups will be promoted in education, health and agriculture sectors. Farmers will be provided advance information about weather, soil quality and pest attacks through AI.

City Economic Zone: Development from Lucknow to Kashi-Vindhyachal

The Chief Minister said that the government is working rapidly on the City Economic Region. Lucknow and surrounding districts will be developed as State Capital Region. Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Bhadohi, Sonbhadra and Mirzapur from Kashi to Vindhyachal will be developed as economic zones. The licensing and registration process will be simplified for ease of doing business. Public trust principle will be implemented in 53 departments.

Strengthening livestock, fisheries and rural economy

The Chief Minister said that along with agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries are also being given equal importance. A provision of Rs 2000 crore has been made for the destitute cattle. Work will also be done on breed improvement. For women empowerment, goat, sheep, pig and poultry farming will be promoted, which will provide new income opportunities to self-help groups.

Provision of Rs 100 crore in fisheries sector and Nishadraj Boat Scheme

Under ‘Nishadraj Boat Scheme’, 1622 fishermen have been given boats, nets and life jackets. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for fish seed, brood bank, fish processing center and integrated aqua park.

Environment Protection: 242 crore plantation and tiger reserve development

The Chief Minister said that more than 242 crore saplings have been planted under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. This year the target is to plant 35 crore trees. Provision has also been made in the budget for the development of Ranipur Tiger Reserve, Clean Air Management Project and establishment of Forestry and Horticulture University.
