On which items 10% tariff will not be imposed?
- Some essential minerals, metals used in currency and bullion, energy and energy products have been included in this.
- Natural resources and fertilizers that cannot be grown, mined, or otherwise produced in the United States or that cannot be grown, mined, or produced in quantities sufficient to meet domestic demand.
- Some farm products, including beef, tomatoes and oranges. Additional tariff of 10 percent will not be imposed on these goods also.
- Pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical ingredients have also been kept out of it. America imports it in large quantities.
- Some electronics have also been kept out of this 10 percent extra tariff.
- There will be no extra tariff on passenger vehicles, certain light trucks, certain medium and heavy-duty vehicles, buses, and certain parts of passenger vehicles, light trucks, heavy-duty vehicles and buses.
- Some aerospace products have also been kept out of the 10 percent extra tariff.
- Informational materials (e.g., books), donations, and accompanying goods are also excluded from the 10 percent tariff.
